Yes, yes.. I actually had this done on December 28.. but I have a good excuse.. I was lazy in updating the news page ;) Anyway.. yes, version 1.2 of the earthquake plug-in is done finally and you can read all about it on the plug-in page. It is all updated with new screen shots. Now.. to plan out version 2.0.
Added a new tour for World Wind. This tour is of the default imagery layers that you find in World Wind. You can view the walkthrough on the tour page.
Using Zoomify I have so far created three sample image sets for you to look at online without having to use World Wind. They include Katrina Imagery of New Orleans and the Moon with Clementine 30xx and 40xx imagery. Check the Maps page here.
Added several new tours to the Tour page today. There are now tours for World Wind's settings and a tour of most of World Wind's basic functions and how to use World Wind in general.
Added a tour of the Blue Marble Next Generation that is in World Wind version 1.3.3.1. Check the tour section of the site for the link to launch it.
Putting the final touches on the script to bring the cafepress store to alteviltech instead of having to go to the cafepress site itself. Check it out here. Also, putting the final touches on the World Wind 1.3.3.1 CD. Look for that soon.
With the upcoming New Your Times article about World Wind Moon coming quite soon. I have redone the design of the site into this new more user friendly look. Layout is still the same though.
New for World Wind 1.3.3.1, the Pictures From The Moon Add-On. This add-on has markers on the moon that you can click on to see images from that area. This add-oon is compiled from several Apollo landings, Satellites and Lunar Orbiters.
World Wind Moon Tour is now online and ready for all to view. See the Tour page for the link to the tour.
You can get to it via the World Wind menu option ot via this link: Visit the Store. There are some products there, and more in the making.
I have redone the walkthrough and posted it in the Tour section of the World Wind portion of my site. New screen
shots, more information, better looking file over all.
There are three versions on the site, the Flash file, and standalone EXE and an HTML export of the sides in a slide
show format.
Couple new things..
Yep, you read that right. It's first week online and the World Wind walkthrough had over 1800 views. It is good to know that some good is coming out of my work ;) I am working on an updated version of the presentation. It will be better quality, more screens and information and in multiple formats. And also, eventually, in multiple languages.
