2005 Hurricane Season Imagery

The 2005 Hurricane Imagery add-on is a re-write of the orignal Katrina Imagery add-on that I had released. It is changed now to become more generalistic as it has several hurricanes in it now.

Current Hurricane Imagery

Katrina - US Army Core of Engineers and NOAA after arial imagery
Ophelia - NOAA after arial imagery and usace (coming soon)
Rita - NOAA after arial imagery now added to the add-on

This imagery is pulled together and processed to help property owners, rescuers, government officials, and others get the information then need in an easy to use format.

Downloading and Installing and Moving Cache

Download the add-on from the link below and run the installer.
It will copy the needed files into the proper World Wind folders.

Note to existing "Katrina Add-On" users.. sorry.. I changed a lot around to make it a "specific hurricane" into a "general hurricane" add-on. I don't overwrite any of the orignal add-on, so you can keep it or delete it if you want. Also, if you want you will have to copy / move your exsting katrina cache into the new structure.

New Orleans before is the 2002 Urban Area Imagery done by the USGS

The mississippi before imagery was done by the National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) (http://www.apfo.usda.gov/NAIP.html)
