This is a semi-near realtime add-on that shows marker points in WW where earthquakes have occured.
Why is it called semi-near realtime you ask? Simple, WW can't go out and gather data
on it's own.. "yet". So, the earthquakes.xml file in your Config\Earth folder *IS* out
of date now. But never fear! All you have to do is point your web browser tothe URL below and
a NEW and UP TO DATE xml file will be generated.
The data to build the add-on is pulled from here: http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/gis/bulletin.asc
which it updated several times a day and is once and a while cleaned out (don't worry if you
get an XML file with just one entry in it.. check back in a couple of hours).
All you do is generate the XML file then save it and replace your current Config\Earth\earthquakes.xml file.
Version 1.0 of the Earthquake add-on has been released. Has the patched up XML file and the icons that
are set to the correct size.
If you already have the 0.6 icon update, you have this version already so no need to upgrade.
